This fashion is mostly found in hard rock and hardcore music lovers and their fans. They dress differently, body pierced, colourful hairs, ripped clothes with safety pins and wrapped with tapes. Although there are many styles of wearing clothes and other accessories in a punk fashion but above mentioned is mostly common. There preferred footwear includes Chuck Taylor All-Stars, Brothel Creepers and motorcycle boots. They used to wear tight jeans and leather pants, with a tattoo on it. There jackets are also fitted and tight made of leather and jeans with tattoos on it.
The fashion of punk is popular and commercialized about different times and so many famous designers have designed the punk clothing including, Jean Paul Gaultier, Vivienne Westwood and some other designers used elements of punk fashion in their manufacture.
Initially in 1960's and 1970's the punk clothing was hand made but it started to manufacture in big companies and some specialty clothing stores by 1980. By 1980, the renaissance of hardcore music occurs which bring this punk fashion at a peak in United kingdom and United States of America.

Standard punks: these are modern punks like to wear denim, chains, spikes cut and combat boots. They wear ripped clothing.
Hardcore: These are really influence with hardcore scene and what actually comes in hardcore scene is there fashion like pony tail hairs, khaki or cargo pants and athletic wear etc.
Skate punk: They use to wear shorts, wrist bands, hooded sweatshirts, work trousers and webbed belts are there common clothing.
Some other type of punks are there including, Pop punk, Suicidal, Droog and Crust punk. Every punk subculture have different taste of clothing but they also have cross to exchange each others trends. The punks are a minority in present days and there influence is not as much as before like in 70's and 80's.
